Children in Need 2016
Posted: Monday 14th November 2016
This week sees Brookfields School celebrate Children in Need on Friday 18th November. We want to make this year’s Children In Need event a whole-school celebration so we can raise as much money as possible mixing the whole school together across a variety of different events throughout the day.
Our theme will be ‘Fundraising Superheroes’. We are having our usual non-school uniform day for the whole school, we are also welcoming superhero costumes, t-shirts or outfits for a £1 donation.
The rundown of the day is as follows:
- 6th Form will be hosting a Superhero Disco and cake sale throughout the morning. Entry will be 50p for a boogie and a drink, but please bring extra money for a cake if you’re feeling peckish.
- Key Stage 4 will be running the Enterprise Village throughout the morning, with a student selling hand-drawn caricatures of you for 50p each. Mapledurham class will also be selling their class-made superhero comic books for £1 each – a must for any superhero fan!
- Key Stage 3, Key Stage 2 and Early Years will be involved in a special activity day with a rotation of different sports and games activities on offer, as well as time to attend the superhero disco in their cool clothes and superhero outfits – 50p for entry!
- Staff won’t be missing out either with a wonderful ‘superhero breakfast’ being provided and sold to staff by Mrs Bedwell – how else would we get through the day?!
Children in Need is a fantastic cause and one we are happy to support at Brookfields School, so please give generously.
