Key Stage 3 Residential trip to PGL!
Last week, 28 pupils from Key Stage 3 had the most fantastic 5 days away at PGL, Liddington on one of the schools’ annual residential trips. It is always a very popular and eagerly anticipated event by pupils, their families and also staff.
For some pupils, it was they first time away from home and for many, it was their first residential trip away with the school. Our residential trips are a great opportunity for all the pupils to be a bit more independent, have a go at different activities and enjoy spending time in a different environment with their friends.
As always, everyone was kept very busy with the great team at PGL supporting and encouraging our pupils participation ins a range of activities, some of which were quite challenging such as zip wire, abseiling, climbing and the giant swing.
All pupils enjoyed canoeing and worked together in groups of 2’s or 3’s in their canoes to chase other teams around the lake. The evenings were packed with fun activities too such as Wacky Races and the ever popular Disco where everyone could relax a bit more and enjoy each other’s company. It was a very successful week with pupils and staff returning to school exhausted but having had a fantastic time!
