Key Stage 4 Christmas Trip

Posted: Thursday 17th December 2015

On Tuesday the 15th December, students and staff from Key Stage 4 visited ‘Windsor On Ice’. Those students who braved donning ice skates and went on the ice, did a fantastic job, being cheers on by those who chose to watch from the side. Even though it was 16 degrees outside, the venue had a real Christmassy feel to it. The staff were very impressed by the courage students showed on the ice as well as the team sprit as they helped one another as they completed a full lap of the large arena. A special mention must go to Laurence B who was a fantastic skater and skated on his own for the full hour. After lunch, most students went on the the dodge ‘ems’. This was very nerve wracking for some staff who had students in control of driving them! All students and staff seemed to really enjoy the day. Thank you to Liz Wainwright for organising such a wonderful event to end 2015 with.
