Please note that the above link will take you to ALL areas of the School’s Learning resources which covers all learning styles, age phases and ability. Your child’s individual class teacher will be in contact with you and will share links to specific resources, activities and ideas most relevant to your child.

If you have any specific questions about activities or ideas for your child please get in touch with your class teacher.

At this time of increased internent access and usage it is more important than ever to work together to safeguard young people whilst online. Below are some resources you may find useful. If you require further support with this topic please raise this with your child’s teacher in the first instance.

For help on how to open the various document types, including word docs for free if you do not have a Microsoft office package at home please read below.

Accessing word, powerpoint, excel documents

Some of our online learning resources will need this software to be opened, viewed or printed.

You can download a free version of ‘office’ software for your home laptop.

It is called OpenOffice, you can find it here:

https://www.openoffice.org/ and click on the link that says ‘I want to download Apache OpenOffice’

If you have an iPhone, iPad, or another IOS device you can download ‘office’ apps from the app store.

Microsoft Word, Powerpoint, and Excel apps are available but come with a monthly fee.

Apple apps called ‘Pages’, ‘Numbers’ and ‘Keynote’ will open office documents.

‘OfficeSuite’ is a free app that will open office documents.

If you have an Android device, you can download:
