News from Green Class, Primary School
This terms topic in Key Stage 2 is ‘All About Me’.
The pupils in Green Class have been investigating how to be a kind and good friend. The pupils loved listening to the story of ‘Have you filled a bucket today?’! After exploring the story, staff and pupils all had a go at being ‘bucket-fillers’! Everyone on Green Class now know all about saying and doing kind things to fill our friends’ buckets.
In maths, pupils have been working extremely hard to recognise and write numbers to 20, and had a go at making some out of Play-Doh! Some pupils are doing fantastically well and practising adding numbers together!
The pupils have been very fortunate this term as we have been going to Forest School every week. At Forest School the pupils have explored new, exciting and unfamiliar spaces where they have investigated and interacting with nature. Sometimes the pupils have taken the hammock with them or have made leaf-angels on the ground!
