News from Stanning Class, Key Stage 3
The pupils in Stanning Class in Key Stage 3 have had a very busy term and been involved with lots of interesting and stimulating activities!
The activities have all been focused on their topic of ‘Survival’ which has offered been delivered through an integrated and multisensory approach. One of the highlights has been where the pupils have been guided by staff as they track down a bear….which was based on a favourite book of the pupils, ‘We’re Going on a Bear Hunt’.
The pupils have continued to engage with and enjoy their other timetabled activities and opportunities such as swimming, exploring the sensory room, as well as interactive music sessions.
All of Key Stage 3 were involved in another exciting Cross Curricular Day with, this time was based on their topic of ‘Survival’. The pupils in Stanning visited Butterfly World as part of this day where they explored and investigated a range of different plants and animals. It was so hot in Butterfly World that one of the pupils asked for the window to be opened!
