Kennet Games

On Saturday 6th May, pupils, their families and staff from across the school attended the annual Kennet School.Everyone had a great day and thoroughly enjoyed the sports activities they participated in which included darts, bowling, Boccia, dodgeball, Unihoc, races and much more! Pupils were very proud to receive their medals for coming 1st, 2nd or 3rd. A special mention goes to Tegan who received a trophy for the “Junior Standing Award” which was for outstanding effort! All pupils showed true sportsmanship, endeavour and team work where they supported each other as well as pupils for other schools. Well done to all the pupils who participated in the games!

Girls Football Tournament

On Monday 8th May, some of the KS4 and 6th Form girls participated in a Girls Football Tournament at The Madejski

Dome in Reading. The girls demonstrated great football skills and teamwork. The team won 3 games, drew 1 game and lost 5 games. The girls showed excellent sportsmanship as when they saw a team was struggling; the Brookfields team helped them score a goal! Kiera and Nafisah were absolutely brilliant at keeping the team focussed, attacking and defending during the games.
