Sleepover at Thirtover Place
On 25th September 2014 Key Stage 4 went on an overnight trip to Thirtover Place. Students arrived at school with bags packed ready for the trip and were transported to Thirtover Place in Cold Ash, Newbury.
All students took part in a range of team activities such as digital scavenger hunts, low ropes courses and team games. Following an evening meal, there was a campfire (with marshmallows!) and a chance to sing songs and tell stories before the students finally went to bed. Students either camped outside in tents or slept indoors.
All students made great achievements, some examples were: overcoming their fears about staying away, camping for the first time and developing new friendships.
Feedback from staff, students and parents has been very positive and we hope this is something we can run again in future years!
